Tiffany Liou is a Taiwanese-American bilingual journalist from the Bay Area, California. Decorated with multiple EMMY, NPPA, Murrow, AP awards and more, Liou is an experienced journalist and passionate storyteller. Being in the industry for more than a dozen years, she's worked in newsrooms across the country, including California, Louisiana, Iowa, Oklahoma and Texas. Liou has covered major incidents, including the Uvalde and Allen mass shootings and the Hill Country flooding. She traveled overseas to Haiti as a solo journalist, where she had the privilege of localizing an international story. Liou is the longtime president of AAJA Texas, the organizer of NPPA's Women in Visual Journalism Conference, and a yearly faculty member of NPPA's Advanced Storytelling Workshop. She teaches and mentors aspiring and working journalists. Above all, Liou is a wife, mother and dog mom. |
